More Info
Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These disc magnets are 0.250 inch (6.4mm) diameter and 0.100 inch (2.5mm) thick. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 2 lbs. Maximum working temperature is 176 F (80 C). Magnets may chip and crack if allowed to snap togetherMagcraft rare earth disc magnets are neodymium iron boron (ndfeb). They are 1/4-inch by 1/10-inch, grade – N40 and their dimensional tolerance is – +/-0.005 inches. The plating is nickel-copper-nickel and their maximum working temperature is 176-degrees fahrenheit (80- celsius).
